The Iirin-kai Bushido Experience Program allows you to experience Japanese sword handling, etiquette, and basic forms. Our experienced masters will provide careful instruction, ensuring that even those new to Iaido can participate with peace of mind. Furthermore, we offer a unique experience of actually wearing authentic samurai armor and taking commemorative photos. Experience flow
Change into a hakama | Please change into hakama for practice. We will lend you the hakama. Please come in your regular clothes for your upper body and wear something for your lower body that is easy to move in, such as athletic tights or jersey pants. |

Lecture on Iai-do | The master will give a brief lecture on Iaido and Bushido. Knowing the history and meaning will change the weight of the sword in your hands. |
Iaido experience | We will finally conduct the experience with the practice sword. At first, you may find it difficult to even hold it correctly. In addition to drawing and sheathing the sword, we will practice "joshi," one of the basic techniques of iaido. |
Video and photo shooting | I will photograph the techniques and stances I have learned. |
Armor wearing experience | You can experience dressing in the armor that samurai wore. Of course, you can take photos here as well. |
Demonstration viewing | Finally, you will observe a demonstration performance by the master. |
